Great summers reads

I loved this series...it's a little intense but in a good way.  It's a about a young girl and her life in a less then wonderful home setting.  She has one of the best friends around and a great guy.  It's more about life than the average YA book.   And right now a contest is going on to win both of these books.  http://theindiebookshelf.blogspot.com/2012/07/giveaway-time-reason-to-breathe-and.html

Times are changing..or are they?

I wanted these shoes...so bad

When I was 14 every girl I knew owned these shoes in brown.  I wanted a pair soooooo bad but my mom was under the understanding that high heels of any kind even platforms are not allowed till 16.  By 16 these were no longer in style.  Now do I want these shoes again....NO I don't but I laugh everytime I see them.  I would have probably broke my ankle the first time around....why are mom's so smart?  Thanks Mom and now my daughter has to wait till she is 16 for heels, dating and make-up.  I guess you were right after all. 

Wanna read some books

Wanna read a great book by a great auther....Toni Aleo, Taking Shots and Trying to Score...I loved them both very much.  I have never really thought about Hockey or Hockey players.  I think I might from now on.  Real stories about real people and situations.  Oh when you finish these 2 she has another just waiting to come out.  Do yourself a favor grab one of these books and enjoy so inside time away from the heat
